Raising fuel economy standards will help fight global warming, reduce our dependence on foreign oil, and reduce gas prices. This week AAA published that the average price for a gallon of mid-grade gasoline in Florida was $3.18.
Unbelievable! A meager improvement for fuel economy to 35 miles per gallon would save an average family more than $500 this year.
$3.18 is too much to pay for gasoline - Let's make sure that Congress gives a green light to improved fuel economy standards - For our Earth and our wallets >>
